Mansi
Mansi’s classes are a blend of movement & deep rest, with a focus on grounding, alignment of the body & breath, presence and surrender. She loves to teach restorative Hatha yoga, Meditation & Breathwork. Her classes offer a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help students deepen their practice.
To her, the aim of asana and pranayama is to cultivate acceptance, appreciation & awareness. Just as we learn to breathe deeper & let go on the mat, we learn to relax, soften and let go, off the mat. The focus of her class is to learn to navigate life from a place of LOVE — Starting with loving the body as it is, in every moment and embracing its limitations wholeheartedly.
She loves spending time outdoors, in nature. She believes it is very therapeutic & uplifting for the body & soul, as it aligns with the natural higher frequencies, allowing us to cleanse and make space within.
“There is a voice that doesn’t use words. Listen.” – Rumi
Aparajita
Aparajita likes to focus on breath throughout the class, and helps students find the beautiful balance of a sthiram (steady) and sukham (happy) practice.
Fond of gymnastics, yoga & dance since her teens, she studied sports medicine and taught fitness and jazz dancing for 10 years. She rediscovered her love for hatha yoga with senior Iyengar teachers in Mumbai, learning to discipline the mind and body, as well as correct postural alignment and provide balance for over-trained or weak muscles, through her restorative Iyengar practice.
She then trained as a Sivananda teacher and truly enjoyed the meditative aspect of this system, immersing deep within – whether on her own, in a group, or as a teacher. She is on her mat every single day, come rain or shine, and the inner peace and strength it has given her is valued and shared as a gift.
You can expect to leave the class feeling like you got a great workout, a blissful internal massage and a lovely meditative rest.
