Overview

The Yin Yoga teacher training program is for both, seasoned instructors & individuals aspiring to enhance their yoga practice. Our intensive structured course delves into the origins of Yin Yoga, shaped by the Taoist principle of yin and yang—balancing opposites. The practice involves deliberate, passive postures, held for extended periods (2-5 minutes), allowing you to surrender, leveraging time and gravity for immense benefits.   This method particularly targets connective tissues, like ligaments in the hips, pelvis, and lower spine, fostering a meditative connection with one’s inner self. Amidst the sensations that may arise during Yin practice, be it physical or mental discomfort, the essence lies in discovering comfort within this unease. While the postures in Yin Yoga resemble classical Hatha Yoga, the approach is distinctive, focusing on fascia through slow, sustained postures.  The human body comprises 12 meridians, each linked to different organs housing diverse emotions. When Qi, prana, or vital energy encounters blockages, physical and emotional imbalances manifest. Yin Yoga promotes mindfulness, slowing down the pace to confront triggers, release past emotions, and enhance self-study. This practice becomes a gateway to meditation, calming the mind’s chatter while fostering observation.
